From November 11 to 13, the tcworld conference 2025, a premier annual event in technical communication, took place at the International Congress Center Stuttgart (ICS), Germany. ZStack was invited to participate, joining industry experts, scholars, and practitioners from around the world to unpack the transformation roadmap for documentation from traditional models to  AI-driven systems.

At the conference, Sherrie Pan, Technical Documentation Manager at ZStack, delivered a presentation titled “From Agile to AI: Challenges and Solutions for Enterprise Software Documentation“. She discussed two key challenges facing today’s technical communicators – agile documentation delivery and domain-specific translation – and shared how ZStack has addressed them through the independent development of its Documentation DevOps Platform and AI Translation Platform.

In the software industry, documentation is closely aligned with product development. With rapidly changing business demands and frequent software releases, delivering documentation in an agile and efficient manner has become a critical challenge for enterprises.

To address this, ZStack developed its Documentation DevOps Platform. Built on a microservices architecture, the platform leverages ZStack Cloud and Kubernetes (K8s) to enable service containerization and dynamic orchestration, providing a one-stop solution that ensures speed, reliability, and quality in documentation delivery.

Domain-Specific Translation

Amid business globalization, enterprises require high-quality translation to support their overseas expansion. While general-purpose large language models (LLMs) perform well in routine translation tasks, they may struggle with domain-specific materials (e.g., software documentation) due to limitations in terminological precision and stylistic consistency.

To overcome this, ZStack developed its AI Translation Platform. Built on ZStack AIOS, the platform leverages custom-trained models fine-tuned to specific business requirements and product characteristics, delivering efficient and high-quality translation capabilities, including corpus management, real-time plain text translation, and batch file translation.

As the global AI wave surges, technical communication is entering its “year of value realization”. Transforming AI from a conceptual promise into an enterprise-grade documentation productivity tool that delivers measurable efficiency gains while ensuring compliance and quality has emerged as a critical industry-wide challenge.

The ZStack Documentation Team has consistently anchored its efforts in real-world business scenarios, responding to this challenge through its explorations and practices in agile documentation delivery and intelligent translation.

Looking ahead, ZStack will continue to pioneer innovative approaches to technical documentation and collaborate with global peers to shape new paradigms for technical communication in the age of AI.
